For a lot of us, myself included, we are trying to reach our health goals. This falls mostly on excersize and eating right – the latter of those leads to a lot of salad! However, store bought salad dressings contain unhealthy ingredients like: Soy Oil, Canola Oil, Calcium Disodium EDTA, Trans Fats, Corn Syrup and more. In all, they can be making your salad actually quite unhealthy! This is why I recommend you try one (or more!) of these delicious paleo salad dressings. You won’t regret it!
With these recipes, you can make five different paleo dressings. The times and ingrdients will vairy, which will help fit in with what you already have in your fridge. For the salad itself, I recommend adding some in-season fruits or veggies to make it pop!
Winter: Beets, Oranges, Swiss Chard, Collard Greens
Spring: Apricots, Mushrooms, Onions, Peas, Radishes, Straberries
Summer: Bell Peppers, Black Berries, Blue berries, Corn, Cucumbers, Lima Beans, Raspberries, Tomatoes
Autumn: Beets, Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Cranberries, Ginger, Mushrooms, Onions, Pears, Peas
Apples and Carots are in season all year! There are great ways to combine one of these dressings with some in season produce to create a beautiful and flavorful combination.
