I love what I do. I love caring for my patients. The relationships I have with them are dear to my heart. I have been in practice for over 30 years, and what I have experienced in the last few years has forced me to be unable to help people like I have in the past. I really hate what is happening to healthcare. It is a broken system. It really does seem that the beginning of the end of healthcare is here.
As a doctor, I can tell you that every year I make less in-spite of working harder. It’s getting so bad that I wonder how much longer I can do this and provide for my family. I don’t know who to blame, but I do know the components that are broken in the system. The government, insurance companies, and lawyers are at the top of the list of parties responsible for this mess. And sadly, the way it is going will eventually destroy healthcare. The situation is at a point where it cannot go on and survive.
Fellow chiropractor, Dr. Martha Boone, explains in the following video here, exactly what I’m talking about. Insurance companies, with their continual exceptions and bias against natural medicine, have brought the beginning of the end of true healthcare.
After I watched this video, I felt like Dr. Boone had read my mind.
This is everyone’s problem. It can be fixed if everyone demands that it be fixed and does whatever it takes to see that it gets fixed.
